Our friend and colleague Sally Edmundson asked us to design and produce her wedding stationery. We sourced a series of decorative stocks from specialist paper merchants GF Smith to reflect the sumptuous surroundings of the wedding reception and give the stationery a hand-crafted and bespoke aesthetic.
The invites were printed in a single spot colour on Naturalis vanilla stock and stitched with cotton into a translucent outer cover. To keep the finishing costs to a minimum, we borrowed an old sewing machine to stitch the covers and perforated the reply cards by hand.
The careful choice of quality paper stock gives the invites a tactile, handcrafted look and feel.
