We were thrilled when London based Charity, Refugee Action, asked us to help them produce a new mail pack to raise awareness of their work and to promote some of the projects and initiatives they’ve been spearheading over the past few years.
Direct Mail Pack
We developed an integrated A5 mail pack containing information about the charity, their goals and objectives, along with a series of compelling stories about the impact Refugee Action has made to peoples’ quality of life. By extending their existing colour palette and simplifying the typographic approach, we created a mail pack that immediately communicates with potential supporters in a clear, positive and engaging way.
An Optimistic Future
The charity was keen to embrace a positive and optimistic tone, whilst clearly establishing the legitimacy of the people they support and protect.
A New Direction
Part of our design work focussed around the conceptualisation and development of a simple word matrix to communicate the positive effect the charity’s work has on refugees. Utilising this graphic device throughout the mailer helped us to formulate a distinctive tone of voice, telling the stories behind a number of refugees who have benefited enormously from the charity’s advice, guidance and commitment.
Call to Action
Each pack includes a donation form and 'send to a friend' postcard. The die cut pocket gives the mailer the capacity to be updated with various inserts and targeted at a variety of potential supporters.
We’re looking forward to working with Refugee Action in the near future, helping them to establish clear brand guidelines in order to raise the visual profile of the charity and help them communicate with supporters more effectively.
