We have extensive experience
of brand development and guardianship. Prior to setting up March, a key member of our team was responsible for the design, creative direction and production of a wide variety of materials for Christian Aid, one of the world’s leading aid and development organisations.
The design templates for Christian Aid’s reports were project managed and developed in collaboration with Johnson Banks, Howdy (Pardners) and other members of the Creative team at the London headquarters.
The Biofuels report and the 2008/09 Annual Report and Accounts shown involved design, creative direction, artwork and project management - liaising with both the Global Advocacy and Policy division,
and Finance respectively.
Working with the Campaigns team during phase one of Christian Aid’s ‘Tax’ campaign; design, creative direction and production of various print and digital materials was undertaken by a member of the March team.
The introductory pack shown here was designed and produced in collaboration with Howdy (Pardners). The visual concept portrays images of situations before and after tax revenue has been paid to relevant governments in the developing world.
Following the white paper of the same title written by Charles Abugre, head of Global Advocacy and Policy at Christian Aid, the 2009 staff conference was to focus on our understanding of how change happens.
The conference identity picks up on the notion of turning ‘chance’ factors into ‘change’ with the help of Christian Aid. The ident animation was looped intermittently on the main stage screens as well as featuring on the intranet and website.
Managing design for the second phase of the ‘Tax’ campaign involved the following: Forming a project team to steer, brainstorm and come up with the campaign’s new title - ‘Trace The Tax’. Designing the campaign’s visual identity and joining up with the web team to ensure continuity. Design, artwork and project management of the campaigner’s Action Pack.
The Churches team were the internal client in this case and the focus of the appeal was refugees and displaced people Christian Aid help around the world.
Working in collaboration with Howdy (Pardners), the appeal’s concept and design utilises simple visual cues to denote the Bethlehem night sky, shelter and protection. Multi-channel collateral was subsequently art directed, designed and produced.
